Gary H. Silver RA, a registered architect and LEED accredited professional with over twenty years of diverse architectural experience, has established himself as an architect capable of expertly managing all phases of a project from inception through occupancy. Completed projects include commercial, industrial and residential work in both the private and the public sector as clients. Public sector clients include the Department of General Services City of New York, New York City Fire Department, and The New York Public Library. Private sector clients include real estate development firms, attorneys, entrepreneurs, building owners, real estate management firms and banks.

Projects range from new residential, museums, libraries, art galleries, medical facilities, restaurants and office interiors to conversion of commercial buildings to residential use. Most recently his work has concentrated on the residential condominium market, both new and adaptive reuse of existing buildings, upgrading building infrastructure to meet the needs of a changing environment and sustainability efforts.

Gary H. Silver Architects P.C. frequently practices in front of numerous governmental agencies such as the New York City Department of Buildings, New York City Landmark Preservation Commission, New York City Department of City Planning, New York City Board of Standards and Appeals, and New York State Attorney General’s office. In addition to being able to coordinate approval and certification of projects by appropriate agencies at city, state and federal levels, the firm provides guidance to clients including economic feasibility studies, historic analysis, budget preparation, estimating, handicap compliance, mechanical installation specifications and construction administration.
